“Marvel Legends” Stan Lee bootleg figure review

Excelsior, true believers! Today we take a look at a bootleg figure of the man behind Marvel Comics, Stan Lee!

Supposedly this figure was supposed to be released as a build-a-figure in some Target exclusive two-packs for “Black Panther”, but for some reason it was cancelled. Since then, it’s become an interesting kitbash of a figure (or knock-off) that’s been coming out of Hong Kong, and here is your chance to take an up-close look at it in case you have any interest in a figure like this!

Thanos Returns To “Fortnite” For New “Avengers: Endgame” Mode

The countdown to “Avengers: Endgame” is ticking away quickly, as the film premieres tomorrow night in the US. All sorts of tie-ins are happening to promote the film, as if it need advertising, but this one takes the cake. Much like they did with Infinity War, Fortnite has a new Thanos-inspired game mode for their players that sounds like a lot of fun.

As revealed on their blog, Fortnite Endgame brings a new infinity war to the battle-royale shooter.

Last time, the mode was everyone VS Thanos, but this time Fortnite Engame features warring teams fighting to gain control of the Infinity Stones.

The hero team attempts to beat the Chitauri soldiers and defeat Thanos when he shows up (more on that below), while the villains must recover the six Infinity Stones hidden around the map.

Check out the trailer below to see Thanos and his goons in action:

On the villains’ team, the first Chitauri who finds a stone can transform into the Mad Titan himself. The more stones the baddies find, the stronger they become as a team. Meanwhile, the good guys mus stop them while seeking out a powerful Avengers item, courtesy of a helpful map.

Here is what the stones do for the Chitauri:

  • Reality Stone (Red) = Heath & Shields doubled (1000->2000)
  • Soul Stone (Orange) = Siphon activated (grants Thanos shields only)
  • Mind Stone (Yellow) = Jump height doubled
  • Space Stone (Blue) = Ground Pound AOE size tripled, damage x6
  • Time Stone (Green) = Big knockback added to each hit, damage x3
  • Power Stone (Purple) = Laser damage x6

Players can complete challenges to unlock Avengers-themed rewards like sprays and a sweet quinjet glider, and costumes like this Black Widow skin.

The blog post does not say how long the event lasts, but I would get in now while you can. After all, it just takes the snap of a finger to make everything go away…

Why The Avengers are Wearing The White Suits in “Avengers: Endgame”

We have seen it all over the place, from the trailers to the action figures and even the LEGO sets. The Avengers have white suits in the upcoming “Avengers: Endgame” movie, but the question remains – why? We finally have an answer for the purpose of these costumes, and why they are so important.

“We call them the team suits,” Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige explained to io9. “And we early on decided [revealing them] was a big differentiating factor between [Endgame] and the other films. The Avengers have never had matching outfits before, [so] we thought it was a very intriguing image to see something that made this film feel new.”

“[We had to] make it feel more than just Infinity War II. Because it’s not,” he continued. “Those team suits add something fresh to it. As does Hawkeye, as does Captain Marvel. As does Scott Lang.”

Do the suits serve any purpose other than aesthetics? That is something we still don’t have an answer to, but this is at least a start.

A theory that is going around now is that the function of the suits is actually for time travel! They are linked back to “Ant-Man and Wasp”, as the tech to make these suits is similar to what Scott Lang’s suit is made of. There’s even a line in Ant-Man and the Wasp about a time vortex in the Quantum Realm, which has made many fans call these outfits “Quantum Realm Suits”. This theory continues that by wearing these suits, the team can travel through time and not be affected by altering reality. Does this mean they could stop “the finger snap” because of these suits and some other yet to be revealed technology?

In the last trailer for the film, we saw the entire new team of Avengers walking around in these suits, minus Rocket and Thor (although these toys claim they will be wearing them). While I prefer the individual outfits, I can see the reasoning behind this and am curious to see them function.

I also wonder if Tony Stark will have a repainted Iron Man armor to match his teammates, since Rhodey’s War Machine armor seems to have these colors in the trailer.

“Avengers: Endgame” hits theaters on April 26.

Do These “Avengers: Endgame” Lego Sets Reveal Movie Spoilers?

Toys can often be the first spoiler of any movie, especially the Marvel and DC ones. Case in point, these LEGO sets were just uncovered online for “Avengers: Endgame”, and may – or may not – contain hints of what we may see in the upcoming MCU epic movie.

Check out the images of the sets below, with some theories afterwards:

New LEGO Marvel Avengers 76125 Iron Man Hall of Armor. It has 524 pieces for a price of $59.99

New LEGO Marvel Avengers 76131 Avengers Compound Battle. It has 699 pieces for a price of $ 99.99 usd.

76123 Captain America; Outriders attack. 167 pieces. $4.99 usd

6126 Avengers Quinjet has 832 pieces for a price of $ 79.99.

76124 War Machine Buster, has 362 pieces for a price of $ 34.99.

These products were discovered by Brick and Bricks.

What is definitely new is the addition of the Outriders, who are going to be Thanos’ minions, as well as Captain Marvel getting her own LEGO mini-figure. We are getting plenty of returning characters from the Avengers here, but many have new white outfits. Is everyone getting a brand new costume?

Does the Hall of Armor and Avengers HQ point to an invasion that may happen when Thanos returns to Earth to finish what he started? We know that Avengers HQ and Tony Stark’s home will be a part of the movie based on the last trailers, but this giant War Machine Buster is completely new!

The Quinjet and Captain America’s motorcycle are nice, but really – I just want to know everything about that giant War Machine! If any of this was actually in the movie, I genuinely hope that armor is a part of it.

Do you think these are just silly toys that were made up for fun, or will any of these sets be based on pivotal moments in the film? Leave your theories in the comments!

Did Marvel Remove A Character from “Avengers: Endgame” Teaser Trailer?

During The Superbowl, we saw a brand new teaser for the upcoming Infinity War sequel, “Avengers: Endgame”. The video showed us a little more about the plot, as well as the survivors of “the finger snap”, and what comes next. But something seemed a little bit off in the trailer.

The above screen-grab shows our heroes walking towards something mysterious in the sky. The only thing is, it sure looks like there is an empty space on the right between Bruce Banner and Rhodey. It would appear that something, or someone, was removed from the scene. Who could it be and why?

Want to see what the Avengers look like in their superhero costumers from the new movie? Check it out at this link here!

This isn’t the first time Marvel has fiddled with a trailer, like when they had The Incredible Hulk in the Wakanda Battle from Infinity War, despite him not being there as the green giant, but instead in a Hulkbuster suit.

CBR did a whole video about it, which you can watch below:

What’s your theory on this scene? Is someone missing, or is just poor direction – or a bunch of conspiracy theorists reading too much into nothing?

“Avengers: Endgame” arrives in US theaters on April 26.

First Look At “Avengers: Endgame” Costumes – Thanks To Popcorn Maker

“Avengers: Endgame” is fast approaching, and there are still many mysteries abound. Sure, we saw some new footage during The Super Bowl, but it still left us with many questions. One of the biggest has been how will the survivors of The Finger Snap look. Today, we have answers thanks to an unlikely source.

The image was released today on popcorn maker Orville Redenbacher’s website as part of a promotion that ties in with the upcoming Marvel Studios film. The post was seemingly pulled down not long after, as this was likely not meant to be revealed just yet.

Here is how the remaining members of the team will look in the new movie:

There had been some rumors of a black-costumed Hulk, so now we have proof of that. We are also getting a better look at the Ronin outfit, as well as the changes to Captain America, Black Widow, Thor, and Iron Man. Overall, it’s nothing too drastic at first look, but there are clearly some nuanced differences with the majority of these looks for the familiar super heroes.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame will star Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Chadwick Boseman, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland and Anthony Mackie.

Look out for it in US theaters on April 26. Hopefully the popcorn served there will not be made with the blood and guts of former Orville Redenbacher employees.
