Justice League Pinmates – Blind Box Unboxing & Review

Bif Bang Pow – WTF M8?

In this Mystery Figure Monday review, we unbox the Justice League Pinmates from Bif Bang Pow. These boxes were supposed to feature characters from the iconic looks of these DC comics characters. What we got instead was… well, you will have to watch and see, and possibly revel in our pain and confusion.

We can’t condone ordering any blind boxes from this line at this time, but we will suggest if you like these, try ordering some of their multi-packs, like this Justice League four-pack with Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Cyborg – https://amzn.to/2NxDr2T

Or this very cool Hall of Justice set, that includes Superman and Bizarro with a two-sided diorama – https://amzn.to/2uGc1Rx

NY Toy Fair 2016: DC Collectibles Video Tour – Batman, Suicide Squad, DC Icons, and more

As mentioned before, my microphone began to have some issues during the last leg of this event, which led ultimately to its demise. Please excuse any scratchy audio, I did my best to make it tolerable when I could, and I can promise that this problem will not happen again.

Jim Fletcher takes us on our annual tour of the DC Collectibles booth with the usual laughs and silly nonsense that you have come to expect from us. In this first video, we look at the newest statues from DC Direct, including the amazingly lifelike statues from the new “Suicide Squad” film, including Harley Quinn, The Joker, Deadshot, Killer Croc, Kitana, and Captain Boomerang. We also see the new statues for “Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice”, with Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman.

Additionally, check out the new statues and figures from DC TV, including Flash, Arrow and Supergirl. Stay tuned until the end to see the new prop replica of Captain Cold’s freeze gun, which we try to test and see if it really works.

In our second video, we see the great new line for the Harley Quinn comic series, which hardcore fans will certainly love. Also for the hardcore DC fans, the continuation of their DC Icons figures, which features new version of the John Stewart Green Lantern, Static, Firestorm, Swamp Thing, Wonder Woman, The Joker from “The Killing Joke”, Cameron Stewart style Batgirl and her motorcycle, a deluxe version of Cyborg and the enormous Darkseid figure. Plus, the new accessory packs for this line that are good enough that even casual fans might want to invest in these.

Lastly, the newest figures from the hit video game, “Batman: Arkham Knight”, which Jim assures is far from over yet, and now includes Oracle, Poison Ivy, vacation Joker, Harley Quinn and Batgirl.

Finally, in our last video, we spotlight all of the new offerings from the “Batman: The Animated Series” line, which includes a new version of the Batmobile, Christmas Joker, Harley Quinn, a five-pack with the ladies of DC animated (Livewire, Batgirl, Supergirl, Harley Quinn, and Poison Ivy), The Demon, Ras Al Ghul and his daughter Talia Ghul, the Ventriloquist, Batman Beyond, Frank Miller style Batman, Carrie Kelly Robin and Mutant Leader, Harvey Bullock, and more. Plus, check out the huge new Batwing which has to be seen to be believed!

NY Toy Fair 2016: Mattel’s Suicide Squad figures

At the Matty Collector event during NY Toy Fair 2016, Mattel unveiled their anticipated action figures for the upcoming “Suicide Squad” movie. This lineup includes two 12-inch figures (with limited articulation) of an unmasked Deadshot and Joker, along with the first wave of six-inch action figures that include Katana, Killer Croc, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot (with alternate Will Smith head), The Joker, and a gas mask wearing Batman.

Noticeably absent from this presentation was Harley Quinn, whose only representation in figure form that we have seen thus far was at DC Direct as a statue. Not sure why Mattel is keeping their Harley under wraps, but I am sure we will see her in the second wave of this line, along with the rest of the team.

Mezco Presents Mez-Itz “Suicide Squad” figure five-pack

In the DC Universe, when a job is too dangerous for even a hero to handle there is just one group to call: the Suicide Squad. When you want action figures of them, there is just one group to call: Mezco.

Based on Warner Bros. upcoming action-adventure film of the same name, Mezco has unveiled a special Mez-itz five-pack of some of the incarcerated Super Villains that we can expect to see in the film. This lineup includes The Joker, Killer Croc, Harley Quinn, Katana, and Deadshot.

Each figure is in the 2inch scale. All feature 5 points of articulation, and has been carefully recreated by the Mezco design team to match their on-screen appearance in the new big-budget spectacular. All five characters are packaged in a collector friendly window box suitable for display. More images of these are expected to show up around NY Toy Fair 2016, and hopefully we will get a chance to see these in person at the event.

Pre-orders are available now on Mezco’s official website, so get them before they expire. Literally. It’s called Suicide Squad for a reason.
