NY Toy Fair 2016: Banpresto Dragon Ball Z & One Piece statues – VIDEO

As part of Bandai’s booth at NY Toy Fair 2016, we got a tour of the latest offerings from Banpresto, who have brought Japanese statues and claw machine prizes into the American market with great success.

This year, Banpresto is bringing out their Manga Dimensions line, which will be starting with figures of Goku, Gohan, and Vegeta in Super Saiyan form, along with Naruto as part of the initial launch. Banpresto is also starting their Master Stars Piece line, where the top Japanese sculptors compete to have their version of famous anime characters become part of this tremendous line. They are also unveiling their World Collective Figure line, or WCF line, which includes Dragon Ball Z and One Piece mini-figurines that will ultimately include every character ever in those two shows.

There is plenty more to see in this video, so if you are a fan of DBZ, Naruto, or One Piece, you need to give this video a watch!

Bandai reveals “Dragon Ball Z” LEGO-style mini-figures

Just in time to get your holiday wish list ready for next year, Bandai has revealed a line of Dragon Ball Z Figmes, which is their version of Lego mini-figures.

The first line of Akira Toriyama’s world-famous Manga characters includes mini-figures of Goku, Super Saiyan Son Goku, Vegeta, Super Saiyan Vegeta, Piccolo, Krillin, Frieza and Cell. We can already start dreaming about future waves, and based on how good these look, I am certain we are not too far away from at least two more waves before the end of 2016. Perhaps this could also mean playsets in the future, such as the Kame House, or… any one of the dozens of barren deserted areas that they usually fight in.

The Dragon Ball Z Figme figures are scheduled for release in March 2016 in Japan, and are priced at 500 yen, which converts to around $4 USD.
