We dare you to say his name five times! Over on their Facebook page, NECA revealed a new eight-inch action figure of Tony Todd as the infamous “Candyman”.
This iconic horror character is now being given the MEGO-style treatment by NECA, complete with fabric clothes and his notorious hook hand.
NECA’s clothed action figure features the likeness of legend Tony Todd in two forms – interchangeable heads allow regular and bee-covered expressions. The figure also has an elaborate soft goods coat and comes with an attachable “bee swarm” chest.
The photos you see here are all pending licensor approval, which means these are not necessarily the final sculpt you will get once it is released. I am sure we will see more updates as we get closer to the time period these hit shelves.
The figure will be packaged in a window box, which has yet to be revealed.
“Candyman” joins many other horror characters in this line that all share the same scale. However, he also joins a few other franchises done in this style, so he can now haunt the likes of The Golden Girls, or maybe just help them eat their cheesecake.
The ship date for this item is November 2019, so not long after New York Comic Con 2019.
