In this Mystery Figure Monday review, we unbox the Justice League Pinmates from Bif Bang Pow. These boxes were supposed to feature characters from the iconic looks of these DC comics characters. What we got instead was… well, you will have to watch and see, and possibly revel in our pain and confusion.
We can’t condone ordering any blind boxes from this line at this time, but we will suggest if you like these, try ordering some of their multi-packs, like this Justice League four-pack with Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Cyborg – https://amzn.to/2NxDr2T
Or this very cool Hall of Justice set, that includes Superman and Bizarro with a two-sided diorama – https://amzn.to/2uGc1Rx

As part of the Matty Collector event at NY Toy Fair 2016, Mattel showed off their next line of DC Multiverse figures. Included in this new wave is the Mutant Leader and armored Batman from Frank Miller’s “The Dark Knight Returns”, The Joker, a Doomsday Superman hybrid that I do not know the name of at this time (but feel free to let me know in the comments), figures based on the TV show versions of Flash, Arrow, and Supergirl, and a massive spoiler in the way of Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor from “Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice” with no hair and in prison clothes. So, anyone complaining about Lex having hair in the film can STFU now. The build-a-figure in this line will be the giant Doomsday figure seen here.
Also on the way but previously shown are more from “The Dark Knight Returns” including Batman, Superman, and one of Batman’s soldiers.

As if there were not enough villains in the upcoming “Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice” movie, it looks like we have another contender throwing their hat in the ring.
One twitter user happened to find an image of an upcoming action figure three-pack that featured an armored Batman with removable helmet, Superman, and one other neat thing that was probably meant to be a surprise.
And just in case the tweet every goes bye-bye, here is the image for safe-keeping:
It looks like we are getting one more big baddie in the film at some point when Lex Luthor shows up in his awesome green mech suit. This should be taken with a grain of salt, since often times toys just add random things to their line, but this one hits way too close to the plot of the movie and very well might be a real thing. One thing is for sure, this flick is getting pretty crowded. It’s turning into the Royal Rumble of comic movies – who will enter the ring next?
“Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” will arrive in theaters on March 25, 2016. The film stars Henry Cavill (Clark Kent/Superman), Ben Affleck (Bruce Wayne/Batman), Gal Gadot (Diana Prince/Wonder Woman) and Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor).
DC Comics showed off many different figures from their TV and comic licenses, including the Arrow and Flash TV shows, Batman: The Animated Series, various comics, and great looking figures based on Frank Miller’s “The Dark Knight Returns” comic. Plus, a first look at Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor in figure form!
