Mattel reveals Retro Packaging for Exclusive Macho Man Randy Savage Figure

Oooooh yeeaaaahh! Wrestling figure fans will be elated to hear the news on a new figure that may be hard to find, but worth the hunt.

Earlier today, Mattel unveiled their special new packaging for their exclusive Macho Man Randy Savage. The box harkens back to the old WWF arcade cabinets, albeit with a new name. It makes a figure that was previously just a new deco for an existing figure into a must-have collectable.

The Macho Man figure is coming soon to a Gamestop near you, and will retail for around $30. It’s quite the price jump from previous Gamestop exclusives like their Samoa Joe and “List of Jericho” Chris Jericho, but the deluxe packaging is likely the reason for this leap in cost. Also joining Randy Savage is a new Shawn Michaels in his Rockers era outfit. No news at this time on whether or not this is the start of a new series for Gamestop or just a one-off, and if HBK will share this box art.

Will you be adding this figure into your wrestling collection?

Mattel joined forces with Ringside Collectibles to release this exclusive five-pack of rare or never before seen belts to fit your toys. Is it worth the money, or is this belt best left the way of the WWF Canadian Heavyweight Title (as in obscure and forgotten)? Watch the video to find out.
