Everything Funko from NY Toy Fair 2018

Funko has a gargantuan booth every year at Toy Fair, and this year was even bigger than before! Here is everything we saw in their booth during NY Toy Fair 2018.

Funko was in full force at NY Toy Fair 2018, and brought many new products for the hit Netflix series “Stranger Things” along with a multitude of more horror movies. Included here are action figures, mystery minis, funko pops, bobbleheads, and a new line of classic Mattel He-Man style action figures with some familiar slashers of the 80’s.

Check out the new sports pops from Funko, including items with current roster and legendary players. Featured here are funko pops from the NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, and WWE.

Funko’s enormous booth also had a ton of movie licenses for their Funko Pop figures and mystery minis. Shown in this video are products from characters in Harry Potter, Ready Player One, Jumanji, Wonder Woman, Princess Bride, Jurassic Park, Home Alone, James Bond, Lord of the Rings, Thor: Ragnarok, Elf, Mad Max: Fury Road, Super Troopers, Tommy Boy, La La Land, Bright, and more.

Funko’s massive colossal booth included funko pops, mystery minis and bobbleheads from loads of TV show licenses, including Riverdale, Gossip Girl, Golden Girls, Bob Ross, Pee Wee’s Playhouse, Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood, Game of Thrones, SMallville, Mystery Science Theater 3000, The Tick, The Walking Dead, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Funko fanatics love Funko pops based on characters from modern and nostalgic cartoons. At NY Toy Fair 2018, the company showed off many new Pops of beloved licenses, including Nickelodeon, He-Man, Thundercats, The Jetsons, Care Bears, Rick and Morty, and Disney properties like Frozen, Winnie The Pooh, Aladdin, The Emperor’s New Groove, and Moana.

Funko Pops look especially great when they capture video game licenses, and NY Toy Fair 2018 debuted a massive amount of new products from these properties.

Included are Funko Pops and Mystery Minis Blind Boxes from Marvel Comic’s Contest of Champions, Five Nights at Freddy’s, Cuphead, Monster Hunter, Destiny, Hello Neighbor, Horizon Zero Dawn, Minecraft, Overwatch, and more.

New York Toy Fair 2013: “ThinkGeek” booth

NerdNewsToday favorite “ThinkGeek” was at NY Toy Fair 2013, and their booth is perpetually a place of fun, nostalgia, and awesome all mixed into one.

While the booth did no justice to the massive amount of epic nerdom that lives on their online store, they did bring their Star Trek cookie cutters, MODOK mug, Star Trek Enterprise Pizza Cutter, Portal mini-gun and turrets (plus Wheatley, because why not), and their Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver electric toothbrush to name a few.

The company also had some new Minecraft items, including a light-up Minecraft torch and block of red ore, and two new iPhone cases – one in the design of an earthen brick and another with the face of a Creeper on it.

A big hit at their booth was their Squirming Tentacle USB toy, which is purley a long tentacle that squirms around. It doesn’t do a damn thing else, but man, is it great! Also unveiled at the show was their series of geeky scented candles, which includes such fresh smells like “Middle Earth”, “Teen Spirit”, “Space”, and “Retro Arcade”, which all smell exactly as you would imagine them (especially “Teen Spirit”, for better or worse). NY Toy Fair 2012 Coverage: Think Geek booth Photo gallery

This week in New York City, the 2012 edition of Toy Fair is going down at the Jacob Javitts Center, and Team NerdNewsToday is there with the goods! Up first is this gallery from Think Geek, which includes pictures of some of their new licensed items from Minecraft, Portal, Star Trek, and Star Wars, as well as some original zombie and general gamer items.

I, for one, can not wait for the companion cube cookie jar, but the real show-stealer is those zombie slippers that chow down on your feet!
