You don’t have to send this version of Daniel LaRusso home in a body bag. Instead, he can come home with YOU, and in a window box package, along with his arch rival, Johnny Lawrence – courtesy of NECA and their new action figure two pack.
Just announced on NECA’s facebook page, the company unveiled two new eight-inch MEGO style action figures from the 1984 classic, “The Karate Kid”. Featuring superb likeness of Ralph Macchio and William Zabka, this set includes some very great accessories (including the famous All Valley Karate Championships backdrop with referee Bob Wall ready to start the fight), and is very tempting to a fan of the series like myself.

Expect to see more images and footage of this and more during NY Toy Fair 2019, where we will have extensive coverage of NECA’s booth.
Earlier this week, NECA also gave us our first look at their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle’s 1990 movie version of The Shredder.
Speaking of the Karate Kid franchise, have you watched the “Cobra Kai” show on Youtube yet? It’s only available through Youtube’s premium (AKA paid) service, but they were kind enough to leave the series premiere available for free for all to watch. Check out the debut episode below and let us know what you think:
