We have a lot of fun with Titan Vinyl, both when we do our unboxing videos and when we hang out with them at NYCC and Toy Fair. You can expect a lot more fun later this year, as the company just announced a brand new line with a very different look.
Coming out this fall, Titan Vinyl adds the DC TV show characters to their line-up, with three-inch mini-figures of characters from Arrow, Supergirl, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow.
The characters joining this first wave include Green Arrow, Supergirl, Flash, Zoom, White Canary, The Atom, Firestorm, and John Constantine. No news on who the chase figures or variants will be at this time.
Here is the official word from Titan:
DC TV HERO TITANS ARE COMING THIS SEPTEMBER!
Titan Entertainment are delighted to announce our September 2019 launch of our all-new 3″ window-boxed DC TV Hero TITANS vinyl figures!
Featuring our all-new 3″ Hero TITANS configuration (Titan’s signature detailed photo-realistic head-sculpts coupled with a new, dynamic body-form), DC TV Hero TITANS wave one features leading characters from DC Comics/Warner Bros Entertainment’s wildly popular CW superhero shows!
This debut wave spotlights Oliver Queen AKA Green Arrow from Arrow; Kara Danvers AKA Supergirl from Supergirl, Barry Allen AKA The Flash & his arch-nemesis Zoom from The Flash; Sara Lance AKA White Canary, Ray Palmer AKA The Atom, Jefferson Jackson/Martin Stein AKA Firestorm & DC’s Liverpudlian arch-mage John Constantine from DC’s Legends of Tomorrow!! Plus: two rare chase figures for you to hunt down and collect!
Each DC TV Hero TITANS vinyl figure is 3” window-boxed and some come with a character-specific accessory.
Sadly for UK fans, this line will only be available in the US.
This is a departure in the typical Titan Vinyl look, and this is something that Andrew Sumner teased with us during our Fan Q&A at NY Toy Fair back in February. It’s a little more realistic, while still keeping the Titan flair. I welcome this change and look forward to seeing what else is coming down the pipeline from them later this year with new properties.
