This summer, the NYC theatrical scene will add another Disney flick to the stage, as Disney is bringing a new contender onto the scene – their 1997 animated movie, “Hercules”!
While no info on who will be in it has been released yet, a casting notice mentioned that Hercules will be played by an African American actor.
The Public Works production is set to begin performances on August 30 and will run through September 3. A reading is set to take place at some point on a date to be determined this April.
