DC Collectibles at NY Toy Fair 2018

Jim Fletcher from DC Collectibles walks us through some of the newest items shown at Toy Fair 2018 from their Gallery line of products, including the Rick Baker bust of The Joker, Two-Face’s coin, and The Joker’s cane in a life-sized scale.

Moving on, DC Collectibles unveils some new statues from their Designer line, bringing art from the comics into a deluxe statue format. This includes the unpainted prototype for the new Jim Lee Superman, Scott Snyder’s Metal Batman, Kenneth Rocafort’s Red Hood, and Michael Turner’s Supergirl.

In part three of the tour, Jim shows us some of the newest items from their hit “Batman: The Animated Series” action figures line featuring the new Harley Quinn deluxe expressions figure, and their vinyl statue series “Artist’s Alley,” with new items of your favorite DC characters by Chris Uminga, Sho Murase and Hainan Saulique.

Next, Jim unveils new statues and action figures from their DC Bombshells line, an epic wave of connecting Teen Titans statues based on the iconic George Perez cover, and more statues from the Batman Black & White line, including Gerard Way’s take on Batman, The Joker, and The Man Who Laughs.

And finally, Jim presents us with some new statue and action figure products coming out later this year, including their new Core line of statues, Essentials line of action figures, and a new take on the Watchmen with their Doomsday Clock line.

Here is the complete tour in one video in case you don’t want to watch the tour in snippets.

New York Toy Fair 2013: Bobbleheads and POP figures from “Funko”

You can’t spell “Funko” without “fun”, and this company always brings their unique and humorous take on pop-culture at NY Toy Fair every year.

This time around, the company unveiled a ton of new bobblehead and POP figures from all across the board. Characters included things from the Rocky series, Halo, Mass Effect, Sonic the Hedgehog, Bruce Lee, Star Wars, Star Trek, Robocop, The Hangover, and tons more. My favorites were the Masters of the Universe figures and the new Big Bang Theory bobbleheads!

One of the hot new items debuting at Toy Fair was their line for “The Walking Dead” which as of now are unpainted, but expect these bad boys to look pretty sick once they do come out.

Also at the show was their line of DC Comics themed “Domo Kun” blind-box figures, and their new Cupcakes series, which is a new line of more feminine characters squeezed into a cupcake. However, the biggest item to come out, in this reporter’s humble opinion, would be “Funko’s” line of “My Little Pony” figures, which look amazing and infinitely better than the current toys on the market. They really capture the look of the characters, and the lack of rooted hair for a mane adds to the animated feel to them.
