Dora and Boots Are Ready For Action In First Trailer For “Dora The Explorer” Live-Action Movie
Dora the Explorer is back, and in the real world, as the first trailer for her live-action movie just debuted!
Last Saturday during the Kids’ Choice Awards on Nickelodeon, Paramount dropped the first trailer for “Dora and The Lost City of Gold”. It’s a fish out of water tale, with Dora leaving the jungle to join Diego in the big city to go to school. Things go awry, her parents get kidnapped, and Dora and her new friends get dragged back into the jungle on a rescue mission and the search for an ancient treasure-filled city.
Check out the trailer below:
The movie looks like a lot of fun, especially considering how no one was sure what direction the film would take. Plus, Boots the monkey looks far less terrifying than Will Smith as The Genie in Aladdin, so that’s a big plus for it.
There may be no Swiper the Fox revealed just yet, but perhaps he will show up in the sequel!
“Dora and The Lost City of Gold” stars Isabela Moner, Eugenio Derbez, Michael Peña, Eva Longoria, and Danny Trejo. It hits theaters on August 2.
