NECA reveals “Disney’s Gargoyles” Figures, Debuts Goliath

NECA shocked fans and 90s kids alike with their surprise reveal of figures based on Disney’s “Gargoyles”, a hit cartoon that debuted in fall of 1994.

NECA broke the news on their social media pages, shocking fans who haven’t seen articulated action figures from this franchise since its inception. Here is the official info from the company about the toy:

“One thousand years ago, superstition and the sword ruled…” The time of the Gargoyles has come again! Arguably the best gothic cartoon of the 1990s, Gargoyles followed an ancient clan of gargoyles transported to modern-day Manhattan when their Scottish castle is relocated. Leader Goliath joins the Ultimate line with an appropriately large 8″ action figure, with a wingspan of 16 inches! The figure features full articulation, including on wings and tail, and comes with plenty of accessories: wings, pepper, book, and interchangeable heads and hands. Comes in display-friendly window box packaging with opening flap.

With this news, it begs the question of whether or not we will see the entire crew of Gargoyles, any of their human counterparts, and just how far this Ultimate line is going to stretch.

The figure is currently available for preorder at Big Bad Toy Store, so grab it while you can because these won’t stick around long, since this isn’t a deal made in stone.
