New York Toy Fair 2013: Military Replicas from “Merit International”

California-based Merit International made it down for NY Toy Fair 2013, bringing some new sixth-scale figures and Military models and replicas with them.

Merit had several unpainted prototypes of various airplanes and armor with them, as well as many of the finished products in different scales from various eras. One of the coolest was the plane pictured above, which is 100% historically accurate to the real plane that is hanging in the Smithsonian.

Making its debut at the show was a new one-sixth scale prototype figure that is more in the line of fantasy than military. This currently unnamed and unpainted character looks pretty awesome, and will come with two huge swords in his massive scabbard. More weapons are likely for the figure, and I look forward to seeing the final product.

One of the hottest items Merit debuted at the show was their Caesar figure from the upcoming “Rise of The Planet of the Apes” line. This figure is priced at $24 and will include a spare head and a pretty good amount of articulation. It also happens to fit in nicely with their sixth scale Jungle Girl figure, which you can see in the photo gallery below of all of their military replicas and figures.

You can check out more or order from Merit International on their official website.
