Noah Centineo Will Be He-Man In New “Masters of the Universe” Film

It seems Sony has finally found their hero to hold their sword high and say “I Have The POWEERRR!!!”, as Noah Centineo is slated to star as He-Man in the upcoming “Masters of the Universe” film.

According to a report from Variety, Centineo is in talks to take the role of Prince Adam and/or He-Man for the new MOTU reboot movie. Noah was most recently in Netflix’s “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” and “Sierra Burgess Is a Loser.” Up next for him is “The Stand-In,” and the sequel to “To All the Boys”, so a lot of romantic comedies are on his resume these days.

All signs point to him adding protector of Eternia to his IMDB page sometime soon, but really the question is whether or not he will indeed be both Prince Adam and He-Man, or perhaps just the physically smaller alter-ego of He-Man. Time will tell, but we will certainly update things once we know the final answer.

An earlier report said that principal shooting would begin this summer in Europe (perhaps a location that has an actual castle that will double for Greyskull). If that date is still accurate, expect casting news to start happening very fast over the next few months.

Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, and Steve Tisch, as well as DeVon Franklin will be producing the movie, with a screenplay by David S. Goyer, who is also an executive producer.
